I wrote this story if it can be called a story on a great big perverted high. It's not really story, more a sequence that summed up my opinions about how a sequence like that should be presented. Today I'm not so sure it really works. I prefer the work of Lampwick's but I still have a fondness for Donkeyday as A. I 'd like to experience it sometime and B. Drake called it one of his favourites.
I'm not keen on this one. I liked the sex scene as it was phenomenally and realistically daring. However I dislike beastiality and quite how I brought myself to write it remains a mystery to me. However the idea of the young woman in it having to do something quite disgusting and bestial to keep her humanity was an interesting idea that deserved better exploration and perhaps a different pay off. I would have preferred in retrospect to have her refuse to compromise herself and slowly turn, that would have had more emotional resonance and ask the question of what 'humanity' is and what price is too high?
In all honesty I like this story the best of the three. Really... am I alone in this? The main character came across quite well to me in this one and I liked the resolution. Really I always consider the ending of this tale or tail ( ;) ) to be quite a happy one. In the end she finds happiness in a pure way that divorces her from the acts she performed as a human. I'm not sure she was really capable of being saved in any other way.
Why is this one up here? Quite simply because I consider it to be my finest work as it shows a human being consumed by a creature from their less conscious mind that takes control. It's strong stuff and not particularly well written. However I loved the way the change was portrayed as it was and is very intense and almost so vivid you can see it.
Not one of my best but hey, a horse TF!
